Copiers: Scanning from the Black (Toshiba) Copiers

If you have not already setup your badge to log you into the copiers, please see this document for instructions.

  1. From the login screen on the copier, swipe your badge to log in.
  2. Tap the 'Scan' Icon.
  3. You will be presented with two options for receiving the scanned document.
    1. You may send the scan to your work email address, which is automatically entered for you. If you intend to send the scan to someone else, you will need to send it to yourself first and then forward it to them.
    2. You may send it to your google drive. Scans sent to your google drive will appear in a folder named "Papercut MF Scans". An additional step will be required the first time you use this method.
      1. You should receive an email asking you to grant permission for Papercut to save files in your google drive. Once you accept this request, scans should automatically be placed there.

  4. Before finalizing your choices, you are given a few options. You may tap to have the scanned document saved as a PDF or in word (DOCX) format. If you choose Word format, Papercut will attempt to convert the scanned document to be editable. The accuracy of this will depend on the quality of the original document being scanned, and this process will take longer than a simple scan.
